Pending a resolution of the brewing controversy over the emergence of Ayo Fayose as the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate in the Ekiti State governorship election, some PDP leaders and aspirants have threatened mass exodus of their supporters to other parties should the candidacy of Fayose subsists.
This was disclosed yesterday by Senator Gbenga Aluko, who emerged consensus candidate of the other aspirants last Friday after the 13 other aspirants endorsed him through a peer rating arrangement.
He also disclosed that President Goodluck Jonathan will be the biggest loser if the PDP loses Ekiti, as it will pave way for the loss of Osun.
