American rap artiste Robert Rameek Williams popularly known as Meek Mill reacted to how international media has paid very low attention to Boko Haram's recent massacre in Baga, Borno state, Nigeria.

The rapper took to twitter to express how he feels about media houses attention on the recent Paris attack that led to the death of 17 people, while the Baga attack that left about 2000 people dead was barely reported.

charity begins at home. How did our own citizens, media and politicians react? [USERGROUP=4]@Senior Curators[/USERGROUP]

Our local media focus on political campaigns, politicians are paying the media pipers...and obviously dictating the tune...shame on them!

Shame on us all... what happened to the social media activists etc, the Facebookers, Twiterers and Instangramers.

Our social media activists are more concerned about selfies, number of followers, and New Year photo release, we all need to take a stand against BagaLISM!

Before you rope everybody in, many social media activists led an outcry over this menace last week. They still talk about it. Maybe you can speak for "some" of the entertainers who have sold their souls.

To be fair, our social media activists have made enough noise about it. It's probably part of the reason the Western media is even looking into the story.
