Former Formula One Champion #MichaelSchumacher is no longer in a state of coma and is now in the process of gaining full recovery.
Schumacher's life was in danger after he had an accident that involved a head injury while skiing in the French Alps last year December.
And the German has been in induced coma since then,before regaining back his consciousness today.
In a statement,his family thanked people for their messages of support and also the doctors who battled to save his life,adding that: "We are sure it helped him."
"Michael has left the CHU Grenoble to continue his long phase of rehabilitation. He is not in a coma anymore," Schumacher's manager, Sabine Kehm, said in a statement on behalf of his family on Monday.
"For the future we ask for understanding that his further rehabilitation will take place away from the public eye," she added
The seven-time formula one champion was initially put in the coma to help reduce swelling in his brain.
