Microsoft, the devices and services giant in partnership with The Future Project, has launched Aiki Nigeria, an online employability and mentorship programme to serve young people in Nigeria.
The programme features a web based job/training resource centre that aims to provide a guide for young Africans in the area of career planning, skill acquisition, entrepreneurship development, Job sourcing and small business sustainability. The objective is to create a better-informed and empowered citizenry across Nigeria; particularly among the youth demography.
While unveiling the programme at Civic Centre Lagos Recently, the global brand noted that the rationale behind Aiki Nigeria is creation of jobs for a new generation of Nigerians through challenging the creativity, mentorship and enabling them to contribute to the national economy by so doing.
