Politics Mimiko Appoints Tinubu's Associate, Odunbaku's Wife As Commissioner

The Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Mimiko has nominated the wife of a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, James Odunmbaku, who is a close ally to the national leader, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

mimiko.jpg According to Mr. Kayode Akinmade, Commissioner of Information, said that Olasinmi Akindele-Odumbaku is a strong member of the PDP in Akoko North local government of the state and she has helped the party in her local council.
Akinmade said: “She is an active member of the PDP in her local government and she was formerly of the Labour Party (LP). We came together to the PDP. She is a very rugged politician and well loved by her people in the area and she is also philanthropy, she deserved to be a commissioner.”

Her name had been forwarded to the State House of Assembly for screening.
