…as nine family members fall unconscious
A mother and her three children have died at Isua-Akoko in Akoko South East Local Government Area of Ondo state after a meal of yam flour (Amala).
The Information Officer of the Akoko South East Local Government, Akin Meroyi, in a report made available to newsmen, said the tragedy involved the family of one Abiloye Folorunso, a resident of Isua.
It was gathered that the yam flour was bought from Isua Market on the fateful day and was used to prepare the meal that killed four members of the family of nine.
An eyewitness, Ayodeji Adesina, said nine members of the family became unconscious after eating the meal.
