The police in Zamfara have arrested some persons in connection with the murder of Hajiya Hadiza ‘Yarauta, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Talata Mafara.
The Public Relations Officer of the Zamfara Police Command, Mr Lawal Abdullahi, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Gusau on Saturday that unknown persons attacked her with sticks on March 29 which led to her death.
The police spokesman said that those arrested were currently helping the police in their investigations and those found wanting would be taken to court.
