Senator Ben Murray-Bruce has suggested ways the Nigerian government can overcome economic recession.
Speaking on the floor of the senate, Murray-Bruce shared statistics of increasing prices of rice and gari while minimum wage was static.
He bemoaned the poor transportation network and cost leading to increased prices of agricultural products. The Senator called on the agricultural minister to look into the cost of transport of agricultural and food products.
Murray-Bruce concluded his speech by saying money will only go to where there is peace. 'Currency is running away from Nigeria'.
