The Nigerian Naira has dropped to N290 per dollar at the official market, according to data from the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN.
According to reports, the Naira traded at N295.5 per dollar during the day before bouncing back to close at N290 to the greenback.
It will be the lowest the naira has exchanged against the dollar at the official market.
This follows the failure of CBN governor, Godwin Emefiele, to convince investors to buy Naira bonds in the UK.
