The Nasarawa impeachment saga has gotten a new twist as lawmakers in the state house of Assembly have written a petition against Governor Tanko Al-Makura to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC; PUNCH reported.
Baba Ibaku, Chairman of the assembly’s Committee on Information and Security confirmed the petition and said that Al-Makura will face the EFCC after his impeachment. The lawmaker however, neither said when the petition was written nor gave detailed information on its content.
Meanwhile, EFCC Head of Media and Publicity , Mr. Wilson Uwujaren has denied having a knowledge of the lawmakers petition.
