The clerk of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Ego Maikeffi, on Tuesday said that he was denied access to the Government House, Lafia to serve the state governor, Tanko Almakura, an impeachment notice.
Addressing journalists at the Assembly’s press office, Mr. Maikeffi said that he was at Government House on three occasions but was unable to serve the notice.
“I was there on Monday and I was told they travelled to Doma Local Government for a function. After waiting, security operatives at the second gate denied me access. Today (Tuesday) I was there on two occasions with my official vehicle yet I was denied access from the first gate,” he said
