The Nasarawa state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have expressed great delight over the defection of former governor, Senator Abdullahi Adamu to APC.
Mr. Illiya Yunana, Nasarawa state PDP Chairman described Adamu's defection as a great relieve to the party and deserves a fun fair celebrations to that effect.
"The defection of Senator Abdullahi Adamu is a very welcome development to the state PDP. Very soon we shall organize praise worship to all and sundry where the ulamas and pastors will come to the party secretariat to sing praises to God in memory of his exit and more so he did not leave with any member of the party”.
The PDP chief also added that Adamu was responsible for the party’s loss of the governorship seat to APC in 2011.
