Nigerian lawmakers resumed to a stinking environment on Tuesday as the Nigeria’s National Assembly was unkempt after a two month holiday.

According to Vanguard, The same fate also befell the staff of the institution who went away with the lawmakers from both tte Senate and the House of Representatives on July 27 after voting on the items earmarked for amendment in the 1999 Constitution.

For instance, the male toilet facilities located along the walkway of the “White House”, housing the Chambers were in shambles. A look around the area showed a dirty floor with stagnant water.

Also, the hand washing basins had grown muds in it. Consequently, the place as at the time of filing this report was oozing offensive stench. Meanwhile, Vanguard observed that the walls along the White House were wearing some new looks, indicating that they were repainted.
