Toeing in the steps of Pastor Tunde Bakare, former Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association, Mr. Olisa Agbakoba (SAN), has announced that he won't be accepting any form of payment from the ongoing national conference.
PUNCH reported that,Agbakoba who is also a former President of the Civil Liberties Organisation, and one of the delegates representing the Civil Society Organisation, described the National Conference as a call to service and an opportunity to chart a new course for our country.
It was further discovered that,other delegates especially those committed to human rights activism and the less-privileged would donate their money to charity
Delegates to the National conference in addition to free lunches will be paid N12million for the duration of the conference.
