Former Minister of Information and Ijaw leader, Chief Edwin Clark, has stated that the planned National Conference will not disintegrate the country.
Chief Edwin Clark said that the dialogue would set the paces for every group to express their views on how best the country can strengthen in unity.
“The national conference will be a success. I believe in justice and equality. Without equality, there is no country.
“Nigeria will not divide, we have gone through that part before”, he stated.
Speaking on his clash with Chief Raymond Dokpesi, Clark said Dokpesi had previously worked against President Jonathan and as such shouldn’t be in the selfsame government.
He said that the more Chief Dokpesi continued to insult him, the more Dokpesi would continue to lose where the big picture is concerned.
