Business National Economic Council: See Names of Implementation Steering Committee

The two-day retreat of the National Economic Council (NEC) in Abuja ended on Tuesday with federal authorities and the country’s 36 states agreeing on several decisions and proposals to rejuvenate the country's ailing economy.

The committe will perform the following functions:

• To oversee the work of the implementation committee
• To provide appropriate steers to the Implementation Monitoring Committee to ensure that the resolutions agreed at the retreat are duly followed up.
