The Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) said on Thursday that several customers in the 48 banks liquidated in December 2012 were yet to come forward to collect their deposits.
The Managing Director of NDIC, Umaru Ibrahim, said in Benin at a program organised to sensitise the public on the activities of NDIC that despite the payment of about N90.13 billion to depositors, several others were yet to show up to collect their entitlements.
