Two earth tremors hit communities in Jaba Local Government Area in Southern Kaduna. The first one occurred at Kwoi, at about 10:30am on Sunday, September 11th. Hours later, another earth tremor hit Sambang Daji village, also in Jaba, on Monday. Residents were said to have fled in panic.
Upon receiving several distressed calls of multiple series of earth tremor in Kwoi community, National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, North West Zonal Coordinator, Alhaji Musa Ilallah led an assessment team comprising of the agency's staff and that of Nigeria Geological Survey Agency to the scenes of the incident.
