A new provost for the Isa Kaita College of Education, Dutsinma has been approved by Governor Ibrahim Shema of Katsina state.
The new provost's name is Dr. Maigari Abdu.
The appointment was contained in a statement signed by Alhaji Aminu Badaru, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the state Department for Higher Education and issued on Wednesday in Katsina.
Also included in the statement was the note that prior to his appointment as provost, Dr. Maigari Abdu was a lecturer at Bayero University, Kano.
