A former speaker of the Niger State House of Assembly, Barrister Adamu Usman, has listed impunity and hypocrisy as some of the factors that informed his decision to dump the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Barrister Usman said this when he registered as APC member at his Jebba-North ward in Mokwa Local Government Area.

He said having analysed happenings within the PDP since 2013, he decided to remain passive, hence his decision not to re-contest in the 2015 general elections.

He said he decided to join the APC in order to add value to the system.
