4 Presidential candidates and 16 political parties have called for the postponement of Nigeria's forthcoming presidential elections; THE GUARDIAN reports.
The 4 presidential aspirants calling for the postponement are Godson Okoye of the United Democratic Party (UDP), Sam Ekeh of Citizens Popular Party (CPP), Tuned Anifowose Kelani, Action Alliance (AA), and Ganiyu Galadima (ACPN).
They want the election postponed on grounds of insecurity in the country and poor distribution of Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC).
The political parties and their presidential candidates who threatened to boycott the election if Independent National Electoral Commision, INEC ignores their request and went ahead with the elections.
