The corpses of an army officer and 15 other soldiers who were missing have been found, in Borno state.
Theatre Commander of Operation Lafiya Dole, Maj. Gen. Lucky Irabor, said the corpses were recovered along Kamadugou River line area in Maiduguri.
The corpse of Lt. Col. K. Yusuf, the former Commanding Officer (CO) of 223 Tank Battalion was among those found.
"They have since been buried in Maimalari Cantonment Cemetery with full military honours," he said.
