Dangote's Nigerian crude refinery, which is currently undergoing construction in Lagos could be listed on a stock exchange once it becomes profitable, Dangote Group Stakeholder Relations Director Mansur Ahmed said the African Refiners Association conference in Cape Town.
Bloomberg reports that The plant, which will be able to process 500,000 barrels of crude a day and is expected to supply both the domestic and foreign market.
“Basic design has been completed,” he said, adding that "site clearing is nearing completion. Site development should commence in a few weeks’ time.”
