The opposition party currently leads the ruling party with 1,918,532 votes

Buhari has a total of 10,384,889 votes while Jonathan has 8,466,357 votes.

After collation for Rivers state, Buhari has 10,454,137 votes while Jonathan's swelled to 9,953,432 votes.

Buhari's lead dropped to 500,705 votes.

Buhari has won 12 states while Jonathan has 14 states tucked under his belt.

After collating results for 29 states -Adamawa, Kebbi and Zamfara has just been added- Buhari's lead has extended to 1,558,022 votes.

Buhari (APC) has gotten 12,008,923 votes against Jonathan's (PDP) 10,450,901.

Results for Bauchi, Yobe and Benue states just came in. Jonathan (PDP) has a total of 10,865,885 votes while Buhari (APC) has got 13,760,747 votes.

With 6 states left to be collated, Buhari has again extended his lead over Jonathan to 2,894,862 votes.

Buhari heads into the final round with 14,230,542 votes. Jonathan trails him with 11,463,554 votes.

Currently, Buhari of the APC leads Jonathan with 2,766,988 votes.

Delta, Borno and Sokoto states are left to be collated.

Buhari seems to be set on the path of victory in the current presidential elections as he leads President Goodluck Jonathan with 2.7million votes and has completed the 25% requisite, a condition necessary to clinch victory.

Currently, Buhari has won more than 25% of the votes in 26 states.

Update: APC's General Muhammadu Buhari is set to defeat Goodluck Jonathan of the PDP in Nigeria's 2015 presidential elections.

With only one state to go (Borno), Buhari has amassed a total of 14,951,378 votes and leads Jonathan's PDP, who has 12,827,158 votes, with 2,124,220 votes.

Borno has less than 2 million registered voters, hence Buhari will eventually emerge winner.
