Nigeria's Excess Crude Account has risen to over $2.257bn despite dwindling oil prices in the international market, the National Economic Council (NEC) said during the week.
The council, chaired by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, also disclosed that 18 states had so far accessed about N500 billion of the bailout fund.
It was also revealed that the Federal Government has reimbursed 13 states with over N535.5 billion being cost incurred in the repair of the federal roads in their respective states.
