The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Babachir David Lawal, has hinted that the driver of the late Minister of State for Labour, James Ocholi might be prosecuted despite reports of his death at the National Hospital.
He dropped the hint while addressing State House correspondents after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting yesterday.
Lawal said the government would decide whether the driver, Taiwo Elegbede would be prosecuted after the final report of the investigation.
On the media report quoting Ocholi’s family as saying they suspected a foul play, he stated: “We are not aware, and anybody who has anything to the contrary that they (Ocholi, his wife and son) didn’t die in an accident is free to report to the law enforcement agencies who will appropriately take it up.
