The Nigerian Naira at the end of business on Friday appreciated considerably against the dollar at the parallel market, gaining N18 to trade at N352 to the greenback, the News Agency of Nigeria, (NAN) reports.
The Naira had exchanged around N370 per dollar on Wednesday, NAN said.
The currency, however, weakened further against the Pound Sterling and the Euro as it exchanged for N515 and N405 respectively.
The official rate remain pegged at N197 to a dollar at the official CBN window.
Traders say the market got a boost due to the availability of the greenback for trading.
