The Nigerian naira on Tuesday stabilized against the dollar at the interbank market exchanging at N283 for the most of the day.
The currency had started at N253 per dollar on the new interbank market on Monday and closed at N281.85/$. This was after it hit a daily-high of 283 to the greenback.
It continued to appreciate on the parallel market though, with Bureau de Change operators losing money.
