Business Nigeria: NCC Unveils 8-Point Operational Agenda [See LIST]

Executive vice-chairman of Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, Umar Dambatta, unveiled an eight-point agenda which will drive the operation of the agency. He assured enhanced commitment towards consumer empowerment and sustainable service delivery.

The 8-point agenda includes:

• facilitation of national broadband penetration,
• improved quality of telecommunication service,
• optimal use and maximization of the benefits of spectrum,
• promotion of ICT innovation and investment opportunities.
• facilitation of strategic partnership with relevant ICT stakeholders,
• protection and empowerment of consumers,
• promotion of fair and inclusive growth through ICT services
• ensuring regulatory excellence and operational efficiency.
