The National Association of Resident Doctors, NARD has said that it will resume work thereby suspended its industrial action tentatively.
Dr Mohammed Adamu Askira, the President of the association made the declaration for the resumption of its members on Monday, June 27, 2016, after a National Executive Council meeting held at the National Hospital, Abuja,
He however appraised the National Assembly especially the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakub Dogara for the tireless efforts to put an end to this strike action.
Dr Askira said: “Work will resume from Monday June 27 2016 at 8am. This is with the view to relieve the impact of the strike on average Nigerians. We assure all our members to remain calm as they resume their normal duties and that no one would be victimised for taking part in this struggles”, he concluded.
