Six Super Eagles players have arrived in Uyo for this weekend’s crucial 2018 World Cup qualifier against Zambia.
The players are:
Hapoel Beer Sheva duo Anthony Nwakaeme and John Ogu,
Goalkeepers Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Dele Ajiboye,
Monaco loanee Elderson Echiejile and
Portuguese-based Oghenekaro Etebo have all arrived at the Le Meridien Ibom Hotel and Golf Resort
Others expected this evening are:
Leon Balogun,
Odion Ighalo,
William Troost-Ekong and
Mikel Agu
Arsenal winger Alex Iwobi is also expected to join the team before their first full training session today.
The Super Eagles will hold their first training session this evening at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
Chippa United Daniel Akpeyi was expected to land in Uyo yesterday evening, subject to the availability of flights to the Akwa Ibom State capital.
Meanwhile, FC Ifeanyi Ubah winger Prince Aggreh trained in the gym, along with Ighalo and Balogun this morning, but the central defender had a recovery session as he was in the match day squad versus Wolfsburg on Saturday.
