Sports Nigerian Basketball League to begin playoffs on Sunday

The finals of the Nigeria Basketball League season will commence this Sunday at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium Lagos,Surulere.

Kano Pillars will be looking towards successfully defending their title,being one of the seeded teams for the playoffs.

Eight teams emerged from both the Atlantic and the Savannah Conferences and they will now be divided into two groups for the finals comprising of four teams each.

Kano Pillars,Mark Mentors,Plateau Peaks and Gombe Bulls make up the four teams from the Savannah Conference.

While Dodan Warriors,Oluyole Warriors Lagos Islanders and Union Bank make up the four teams from the Atlantic Conference.

Group A seems like the toughest of the two groups: Kano Pillars,Dodan Warriors,Union bank and Plateau Peaks will be vying to make it to the next round of the playoffs.

The first game will be played on July 13 with the final taking place on July 19.
