A Federal High Court in Abuja has discharged and acquitted former Senate Majority Leader, Ali Ndume from allegations of links with the Boko Haram terrorist sect.
Justice Gabriel Kolawole upheld the no case submission filed by Ndume, saying that there is nothing necessitating to call the defendant to enter his defence.
The Federal Government had insisted that it had led sufficient evidence showing Ndume’s complicity in the alleged offences, thus the need for him to offer some explanations.
