DHQ insists that Amnesty International report is not consistent with “actual situation on ground” in the North East.
The Nigerian military said on Friday that it would investigate Amnesty International’s allegations of human right abuses by security operatives in the ongoing operations in the North-East.
This military said this in a statement issued by Chris Olukolade, the Director of Defence Information, in Abuja.
“The report titled: “Nigeria: More than 1,500 killed in Armed Conflict in North-Eastern Nigeria in early 2014″, contains allegations of human right abuses in the north eastern part of Nigeria.
