Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode claims that Nigerian scientists have found the cure for the Ebola Virus Disease.
Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, has said that a team of Nigerian scientists have been able to produce a vaccine that would be the final cure for the dreaded Ebola Virus Disease (EVD), which, as at September 13, 2015, had claimed 11, 306 lives out of 28, 256 cases recorded worldwide as stated by World Health Organisation (WHO).
Ambode who made the revelation when he received crew members of ’93 Days’, a film centered on onset of Ebola Virus in Nigeria, led by leading Hollywood filmmaker, Danny Glover, said the vaccine was tested in Guinea and that it worked.
He said that by the grace of God the vaccine had been certified as final cure for Ebola.
He explained that those used for the experiment were Guineans. “The Guineans agreed to supply their people to be used as Guinea pigs and by the Grace of God, we are now on the way to cure Ebola permanently”, he said.
