Senator Dino Melaye representing Kogi west Senatorial District has said that Nigerians have open ledger for thieves at the corridor of power.
Melaye said this on Wednesday when he raised a point of order on alleged contracts infractions by the Ministry of Power, Works and Housing on the floor.
He alleged that the Ministry and the BPP had colluded in inflating the cost of contracts for the rehabilitation and construction of bridges and roads across the country.
“Nigerians are watching”, Melaye stated.
“They have opened a ledger for thieves in power and who are still in power.”
Melaye thereafter asked the Red Chamber to give him the opportunity to bring a motion on the issue to the chamber on Thursday.
