Following the recent auction of the 2.3 GHZ spectrum by the telecoms umpire, the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Nigerians may be on the way to enjoy a faster internet speed as Bitflux consortium successfully paid a whopping sum of N3.7 million being the full payment of the spectrum 2.3GHz license and N155 million, being the full payment of the spectrum operational license on Tuesday.
The NCC had threatened to transfer the coveted bid to Globacom,if Bitflux fails to pay up within the stipulated time.
According to Bitflux,the company still had about 10 more days to pay for the operational License, the consortium decided to make both payment at once.
