The Nigerian Senate, today, deliberated on the alleged forgery of their standing order for which Senate president Bukola Saraki and his deputy, Ike Ekwermadu, are to be arraigned for next week Monday June 27th.
The senate has resolved to mandate their judiciary committee to summon the Attorney General of the Federation, Malima Abubakar to appear before it.
Speaking during their deliberation, Senator Dino Melaye, representing Kogi west senatorial district at the National Assembly throwed jab at President Muhamamdu Buhari led federal government over misplaced priority.
Melaye, accused the Executive of chasing rats when the economy is gradually falling into a recession.
