Business Day has reported the Federal government is claiming that the country's Excess Crude Account has increased by $1.34bn bringing the total to $3.45bn.
Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala,Minister of Finance, confirmed the rise on Sunday in a statement issued by her Media Assistant, Mr. Paul Nwabiuku.
Okonjo-Iweala said the rise in the ECA signaled the Federal Government’s commitment to rebuilding the country’s fiscal buffers.
