Nigeria's energy firm Forte Oil on Thursday announced that its pretax profit fell by 33% in the first quarter of the year, Reuters reports.
The firm's pretax profit fell 33 percent to 842.34 million naira ($4 million) in the first three months of the year, from a year ago.
Forte Oil did not give a reason for the drop in its pretax profit but said in a statement that revenue fell 33.06 billion naira from 34.78 billion naira a year ago.
