Senator Dino Melaye, representing Kogi west senatorial district on Tuesday raised a Point of Order on the misappropriation of funds by the NNPC and NDPC over alleged non-remittance of $3.48b and $3.442 into the Government coffers.
He said on the non-remittance of funds: "No Senator is distinguished until all Nigerians are Distinguished"
“It is abnormal that despite the fact that we are in a change era some individuals have not remitted over $400m”.
Sen. Ali Ndume, the Majority leader thanked Senator Dino Melaye for the Motion and urged President Muhammed Buhari to take this motion will all seriousness.
