John Short, a 75-year Australian missionary who traveled to North Korea as part of a tour group has been detained there.
According to CNN, John's wife, Karen Short said he had with him some Gospel tracts in Korean "which seem to be at the core of the detention. She also alleged that her husband was currently been questioned by North Korean authorities.
His family found out about the detention only after another member of the group returned to China on Tuesday.
Meanwhile,North Korean officials are yet to comment on the reported detention.
