Business NSE Lifts Ban on Oando Rights Issue

The Nigerian Stock Exchange, NSE, has reopened trading on Oando rights issue.

A statement from the Exchange on Friday said trading commenced on the rights issue of 2,217,265,184 ordinary shares of 50 kobo each at N22.00 per share, which was initially slated to close on Friday, December 19, 2014. NATIONAL MIRROR reports.

“Having received the commission’s approval to proceeding, The Exchanged re-opened trading in rights of the offer on December 3, 2014 to close on Wednesday 14 January 2014,” it said.

The Exchange suspended trading on the rights over information received on November 27, 2014 from Vetiva Securities Limited, the Lead Stockbroker to the Issue, that Oando has not obtained a formal clearance of the offer documents and registration of the shares from the Securities and Exchange Commission, SEC
