Retired Commander Abdulaziz Nyako, the eldest son of former Adamawa State governor, Murtala Nyako, will contest the forthcoming Governorship election in the state, Rev. Phines Padio, Publicity secretary for the All Progressives Congress has said.
Daily Trust quoted Padio saying, "Commander Abdulaziz is still in the race for governorship and meetings and consultations are on to prepare grounds for his eventual declaration of interest. He will officially inform the party of his intention in due course being a democrat and loyal party member".
