The National Youth Service Corp NYSC has resolved to deploy corps members to the North East for the one year mandatory service year, especially Gombe state, its Director General Brig-Gen Johnson Bamidele Olawunmi has said.
Olawuni said: "you will agree with me that insurgency has been reduced drastically and based on our assessment Gombe is certain to get from this batch A”, while speaking with DailyTrust in Katsina.
"We are looking at Adamawa if not this Batch A but the next batch. But certainly, I pray by the end of this year Borno and Yobe will get corps members posted there," he said.
"The unfortunate thing is that , some of these states have some of the best facilities. We have missed going to those states and my staff also to conduct orientations in them," he added.
