Politics Obasanjo Bags Masters Degree as NOUN holds 5th Convocation

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo will be among over 5,000 students that would be graduating from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) and would be conferred with MA degree in Christian Theology.

The former President will be getting his MA degree under School of Arts and Social Sciences, NOUN Abeokuta study centre.

The graduation ceremony has been scheduled for next week in Abuja and would attract stakeholders including the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, official of the National Universities Commission as well as associates of former President Obasanjo.

His two supervisors in the course of his thesis are, Prof Isaac Ayegboyin, Head of Department of Religious Studies, University of Ibadan and Dr. Philip Tachin, lecturer in Systemic Theology Department.

“Obasanjo who his tenure as President resuscitated the National Open University of Nigeria, would be the star attraction at the 5th convocation ceremony scheduled to hold at University Village, National Open University of Nigeria, Cadastral Zone, Nnamdi Azikiwe Expressway, Jabi-Abuja.”
