Chief Frank Ogbuewu, former ambassador to Greece and Minister of Culture and Tourism and about 250,000 of his supporters have defected from the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Ebonyi State.
Ogbewu announced his defection at an extended Exco meeting of APGA in Abakaliki, which also unanimously adopted a resolution that all APGA members in the 13 local government areas of the state move into the PDP.
