PDP Spokesman, Olisa Metuh, was taken to prison shortly after he was granted bail in the sum of N400m by the court on Tuesday.
According to PUNCH, Metuh was driven off in a prison pick-up van from the premises of the Federal High Court in Abuja.
Reports say Metuh, who was produced in court in handcuff for the bail hearing is to remain in prison till when he meets the bail conditions.
After the court delivered its ruling on Tuesday, prison officials led him to a waiting pick-up van and he was locked up at the rear cabin of the vehicle.
The vehicle with registration number PS 682 AA and with inscription, Kuje Prison, FCT Command, Abuja, was driven off from the court premises at exactly 4:10pm.
