Nigeria - Indigenous Integrated ICT Firm, Omatek Ventures Plc, is set to address Nigeria’s lingering electricity supply challenge through the deployment of solar technology solutions to reduce power consumption in the country by as much as 85 percent, Daily Independent reports.
Mrs. Florence Seriki, the firm’s CEO, stated this at the commissioning of its off-grid solar solution factory in Ikeja, Lagos state.
The 50KVA 3-phase solar solution factory represents the solar solution for factories, schools, banks, telecoms firms, government and other organisations that require big power installations.
Solutions have been installed in schools, homes, offices and factories, and at the Nigerian Stock Exchange. This helps bridge the digital gap in the Nigerian school system as students no longer need to read in darkness.
