A statement signed by the Publicity Secretary of the party, Omo’ba Abayomi Adesanya said the SEC unanimously passed the vote of no confidence on the State Chairman, for failing to discharge his responsibilities, neglect and dereliction of duty, among other offenses, in compliance with ARTICLE 21(D)(vi), of the Constitution of the APC.

There are indications that the development may not be unconnected with the role the chairman played in the last year governorship election.

According to the statement, Engr. Ade Adetimehin has been unanimously chosen to act as the state chairman.

However, a 3- man facts finding disciplinary committee has been set up to investigate the sacked Chairman.

The disciplinary committee has the party’s publicity secretary, Adesanya as the chairman of the disciplinary committee, Saka Yusuf Ogunleye as the secretary, while Mr. Rasheed Badmus will serve as a member.
